Softwares/Frameworks Used
Autodesk Maya, ZBrush, Wrap 3D, Substance Painter, Arnold, XGEN.

Here's my interpretation of the "Thing" character from the Netflix show "Wednesday." I utilized an anatomy sculpt practice as a foundation, rigging and posing the mesh in Maya before refining it further in ZBrush. The sculpting and details were meticulously crafted by hand. Retopology is done with Wrap 3D. To enhance the textures, I used Substance Painter, while Arnold was used for shading and look development. For the peach fuzz hair, I utilized XGEN in Maya, exploring grooming techniques for the first time. Additionally, I incorporated corrective blendshapes to achieve desired poses. In terms of research and development, I experimented with dynamically blending displacement maps using the Blendshape deformer, a useful technique for combining multiple displacement maps. To push beyond the original reference, I added dry blood spots around the stitches. This project provided a valuable learning experience, expanding my knowledge in various areas.
