Houdini Shader Creator tool is designed for Asset artists to efficiently create and manage Arnold shaders in Houdini. The primary function is to input a folder path containing textures and automate shader creation and assignment. (Update 1.1) The tool also supports MaterialX Shader creation (which will create a MaterialX subnet instead of the aiStandardSurface subnet)

Features
⦁ Texture Path Input: Enter the folder path where all textures are stored.
⦁ Connection Overview: Displays an overview of all texture connections.
⦁ Manual Texture Selection: Option to manually pick specific texture files if needed.
⦁ Manual Shader Name Input: Rename the shader using the input field provided if needed
⦁ Shader Creation Options (under “/mat” context ):
⦁ Create a shader separately.
⦁ Create a shader and assign it to the selected geo container
⦁ Create all shaders in one click in
⦁ MaterialX Shaders: Creates a MaterialX subnet for MaterialX shading.
⦁ TX Textures Conversion Shortcut: Toggle TX textures conversion with a shortcut for ease of use.
